Steventon's

Steventon's has a magnificent view of the Mississippi River, but the windows are the best thing about the place. The ambiance is lackluster. The food is decent, but the prices are high for what is really glamorized comfort food. Although the plating is reasonably nice, the food is a bit bland. If you are under 60, I recommend finding another place to go.

Recently went to Steventon's for the first time. Expected a nice evening, but we ended up having a GREAT time! A group of six, we ended up having something at every course flambe-ed at the table. Calling late for a reservation, the hostess made it work. The 'can do' guest service continued to be exemplary through the night even though the restaurant was packed. The river view was beautiful; the food delicious.

It was a memorable evening, the way really good dining should be! We'll look forward to going again.
