i dunno what toaster ordered, but habaneros is probably the best overall mexican restaurant in the quadcities. i usually go to the one near the east moline border, where on tuesday nights they have 'pork meat' for $7 - that is the best meal on earth. also habaneros has great chicken fajitas and pretty much all other dinner items are incredible as well. plus they have the best chips & especially salsa. like at pretty much all authentic mexican restaurants, the regular beef burritos, enchiladas, etc are the worst things to get, which is what most people get, in an ironic twist. Heres a tip - at authentic mex restaurants always get a dinner or specialty item - they are by far the best things to get.

Theres a reason this place is in the mall. Its mall caliber food just like the fast food pizza, sandwich, and pretzel places in the food court. Each of the three times I have been to Habeneros the food has been mediocre. And to top it off the food was good in contrast to the quality of service.

I love their mexican food, their prices are great and the combinaton platters are excellent! The food is not greasy at all. It is located at North Park Mall entrance, so makes a great place to stop in for lunch while shopping or dinner after a day of shopping. The atmosphere and wait staff are very nice as well.
