I would go to Front Street Brewery on hot summer days for a pint or two of their Heffiweizen (sorry, I might have misspelled that) or the Davenport Gold.
There was nothing better! The place smells of the brewing process and the atmosphere is absolutely wonderful!
The bar is small as is the entire establishment and when it fills up it becomes a challenge to move and you find yourself elbow to elbow with the other patrons.
Parking is a hassle and there isn't much of it but it is worth the effort and even a short walk to give this brewery a try!

For a mid-afternoon pint, this place is good. Happy hour price for their home-brews is great, just like the stout. Real nice when its quiet, and the digital music system, and the satellite radio (I think) give it a good feel.

This is my favorite bar in the Quad Cities. For atmosphere, the outdoor seating area in Aug or Sept. is awesome. Indoors great also. Highly recommend Davenport Gold beer. A favorite of all my coworkers also.

Front Street is awesome, they have a ton of different beers to choose from.. try the Stout or Cherry Ale. Their food isn't as bland as most bar food, its actually really good. Prices are reasonable and better yet there is a coupon in the back of the phone book for buy one get one free meals. The only downside is that parking is not convenient and the inside of the restaurant is really, really dark.
