You go into this place, and even if you smoke or not, you have to appreciate the "smoke free" environment! You can actually smell the food as it is being prepared!
Great service and the recently new ownership (Damen) has improved the menu!
Get there early if you want to find a place to sit!
Also, as its name suggests, it is a great place to meet a few friends and take in a baseball or football game!
GO STEELERS!! GO REDBIRDS!!!

I stopped into this establishment as a fluke. My buddy and I decided to try it based upon the fact it was smoke-free, and we never stopped going back.

This first thing that makes or breaks a bar is the bartender. Overtime has one of the QC's best bartenders. Ryan is the type of guy that you can come in, have an conversation with, and he can still pour the rest of the bar drinks. He brings life to Thursday kaoke. You must hear him sing "I beleive in a thing called love" by the Darkness.

The rest of the staff is great too, especially Sarah and Amy. Crack, the owner, is the type of guy you want owning the bar you go too. He even showed up t my wedding. On the side of the beer cooler is a pic of him kissing me on my wedding day. I may have gotten more action from him than my wife that day. You also have a great cast of regulars: Thursday Karoke has Bill, who can sing Neil Diamond better than Neil Diamond. He's always willing to do requests. Brian can tell you anything about Iowa State sports, despite their constant efforts tto frustrate him with their knack for losing. And the list continues...

There is plenty to do between the card tournaments, NTN trivia and poker, the on-demand juke-box, video games, karoke, plenty of local and national sports memoabilia, the Crack-Open golf tournament, and talking to random strangers the stop in Crack's bar. Its not always the busiest place, but it all good days end in Ovwertime.
